A small change to a sprite you already like
- Upload your sprite and describe the part you want to change.
- Paint an area if needed. This is optional, a prompt is enough to start.
- Compare up to four variants and choose the one that fits your game.
- Keep editing from that result if it needs another change.
The rest of the sprite stays yours
A new weapon should not mean a new face or a different pair of boots. Pixels outside the edited area stay exactly as you uploaded them. That matters when the sprite already sits in a game and you only need one detail changed.
Build on the result
Chained edits let you continue from a result you like. Change the staff first, then ask for a cape. Each new edit costs credits, so you can stop as soon as the sprite is right.
Once you are happy with it, the pixel art animation generator can turn the finished sprite into a short loop.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to paint the area I want to edit?
No. Upload a sprite and describe the change. Painting an area is optional and lets you limit where the edit can happen.
Will the rest of my sprite change?
Pixels outside the edited area remain byte-identical to your upload. Only the part being edited changes.
Can I add something outside the original outline?
Yes. Switch off Keep silhouette for additions such as a hat or cape that need to extend beyond the original outline.
Can I edit the result again?
Yes. You can chain edits from a result you like and make the next change from there. Each new edit costs credits.
How many variants can I make at once?
Up to four variants per edit. Each variant is charged separately.
How much does an edit cost?
2 credits per variant on Epic, or 6 on Mythic. Four variants cost 8 credits on Epic or 24 on Mythic.
Is EDIT available on the free plan?
No. EDIT in the app is a subscriber mode, available on Ranger, Knight, Paladin and Dragonlord.
